About The Position

We are looking for a talented, self-motivated Seasonal Vector Ecologist to work for the Center for Vector-borne Infectious Diseases at the CSU. The candidate will be based in Oregon and conduct tick and tick-borne disease surveillance in partnership with the State of Oregon Public Health Division.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work 8 to 20 hours per week.
  • Willing to travel to field sites in Southern Oregon.
  • Willing to hike in natural areas for tick collections.
  • Ability to work in collaborative teams.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with ecological field work.
  • Experience working in a public health or lab setting.

Responsibilities
