About The Position
This position primarily involves the operation and maintenance of the toll booth and assisting in park operations as time permits. The employee will be responsible for verifying permits and change fund in the morning, balancing permit sales and cash receipts at the end of their shift, and collecting permit fees from vehicles entering the park. Additional duties include attaching permits to windshields, maintaining a sufficient supply of permits and change, and disseminating information to park visitors. The employee will also assist with park operations as time allows and maintain a clean and well-organized toll booth. The position may require work at Lower Huron, Oakwoods, and Willow Metroparks.
