About The Position
The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) at Ulta Beauty plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence that supports sales drivers, which are essential for delivering an exceptional experience to all guests. This position is centered around maintaining store standards, keeping fixtures stocked with merchandise, and ensuring overall cleanliness throughout the store. The STA will work closely with the Merchandise Manager (MM) and Operations Manager (OM) to focus on performance metrics, people engagement, and adherence to processes and compliance standards. Attention to detail is paramount, as the role requires following established procedures to meet operational goals. In this role, the Seasonal Task Associate will contribute to the store's retail goals by executing tasks as planned and ensuring that products are readily available for purchase. This includes meeting compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard, timely completion of operational processes such as shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to maintain the flow of operations. The STA is also responsible for fostering an inclusive environment that supports both teammates and guests. Continuous professional development is encouraged through participation in ongoing training, which includes brand and category education aimed at driving sales performance. The associate must be knowledgeable about Ulta Beauty's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with the company's standards, including dress code and operational best practices. Additionally, the Seasonal Task Associate will be tasked with completing merchandise resets, planograms, and marketing displays, as well as maintaining outstanding store standards and cleanliness across various areas, including the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area. Protecting company assets through loss prevention best practices while providing exceptional guest service is also a key responsibility of this role.
