About The Position

Ariens Company is currently seeking dependable, enthusiastic summer employees to fill full-time, seasonal, entry level production/manufacturing roles. The areas include Assembly, Machine Operating, Paint, and Material Handling and work 40 hours per week, 4:30am - 2:30pm, Monday through Thursday.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for duration of scheduled shift (10 hours)
  • Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Desire for personal development and growth
  • Must complete respirator questionnaire
  • Must maintain an average work schedule of less than 25 hours per week
  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon your start date
  • Applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen in order to be considered for summer employment

Responsibilities

  • Safe operation of machine and tools
  • Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles
  • Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling outdoor power equipment
  • Perform any assembly-type functions using hand or power tools
  • Operates equipment needed to perform the job
  • Strict adherence to standard work
  • Assist team members in other areas if needed to meet daily production goals
  • Ability to problem solve effectively
  • Ability to communicate
