Join us this summer, as a Seasonal Student Support Employee to add flavor to your career. In this role you will help prepare world-class products for shipment in our WK Kellogg Co, Omaha, NE Plant. Requirements

  • Completed or soon to graduate with a High School Diploma or GED and possess an acceptance letter from a college or university OR currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution will be attending in the Fall of 2026. Student status is defined as 6 credit hours a semester.
  • 18 years of age at the time of hire (As of May 11, 2026)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, all shifts, including weekends and holidays and full-time hours (all shifts) as of May 11, 2026, and be able to work full time through the summer
  • Ability to work a rotational schedule with availability seven (7) days a week up to 12-hour days
  • Able to spend extended periods walking, standing, bending, and lifting moderately heavy items weighing approximately 20–25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Packing with Care – Prepare our finished products in accordance with prescribed packaging procedures. You will take particular care in high-quality packing of finished goods. We want to see your passion for precision and vision for success!
  • Operating Machinery – Work with computer-controlled equipment or mechanically-based machines. Your talent for all things technical will ensure they are set up properly, working well and producing quality products.
  • Managing Machine Performance – Ensure machines remain stocked and working at full capacity. As a meticulous worker, you will take care to keep them well-maintained as you perform periodic checks while inspecting our products and packaging.
  • Following Best Practices – Adhere to good manufacturing practices as you prepare equipment for production. You will use all the right safety precautions as you support our efforts to create better mornings and better breakfasts for our consumers.
  • Cleaning is Key - Cleaning in designated areas throughout the plant such as the roof, packing, processing, warehouse, and sanitation area.
