About The Position

The Seasonal Greeter/Stocker will perform the duties of both positions, greeting customers as they enter the store and keeping the shelves full of products throughout their shift. They will explain our specials and check receipts after customer purchases for accuracy. Greeter/Stockers will keep the store clean, neat, and organized and help customers with information about the products and where specific products are found. They must also keep the exterior area of the store clean and free of garbage and debris. Greeter/Stockers are expected to clean the store and bathrooms if instructed by management. Greeters/Stockers will be managed by the Cashier Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during work hours.
• Ability to stand for lengthy periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Availability on work nights, weekends, holidays, over the entire Season
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Customer service experience a plus.
• An understanding of our products is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests as they arrive.
• Provide information on our current sales and promotions.
• Provide advice or direct guests to the proper sales associate.
• Help keep track of how many guests we see throughout the day.
• Help keep a clean and welcoming environment by taking out the trash, etc.
• Responsible for gathering and wiping down shopping carts throughout the store and parking lot.
• Notify floor manager or security personnel about potential issues.
• Unload inventory.
• Mark sales tags as needed.
• Replace damaged items.
• Order replacement merchandise and products.
• Create a list of items needed to stock the store.
• Stock inventory, items, and products.
• Make sure stock labels are visible and readable.
• Remove and break down empty boxes.
• Help customers as needed.
