About The Position

The Seasonal Starbucks Barista at Macy's is responsible for selling and creating Starbucks coffee beverages while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves following Starbucks standards and maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring a delightful experience for customers in a retail environment.

Requirements

• No education or experience required.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sell and create Starbucks coffee beverages following Starbucks standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service through product knowledge and hospitality.
• Maintain work area and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.
• Educate and serve customers with food and beverage products.
• Open and/or close the area following appropriate checklists and verify completion with the Manager on Duty.
• Maintain PAR stock levels and standards in product presentations.
• Produce and present freshly prepared products following Starbucks recipes while meeting speed of service standards.
• Follow Starbucks merchandising and signing standards.
• Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to comply with company, Starbucks, and Health Department standards.
• Perform other duties as needed.
