About The Position
The Server/Bartender position at Safe Harbor Marinas, LLC (SHM) is a seasonal role responsible for providing exceptional service to restaurant and bar patrons at various locations including the restaurant, restaurant bar, and pool bar. This role involves a variety of tasks such as preparing tables, greeting and seating customers, taking and delivering orders, processing payments, bussing dishes, and cleaning the restaurant and bar after service. The Server/Bartender is expected to execute all functions of dinner service, which includes the setup and breakdown of the restaurant, as well as assisting with events and banquets. A strong knowledge of liquor, mixed drinks, beer, and wine is essential, along with the ability to deliver an excellent customer service experience to both members and guests. The position requires quick thinking, awareness of surroundings, and the ability to anticipate the needs of patrons to ensure a high-quality service experience. The role demands a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment that reflects a high-quality Yacht Club/Country Club style atmosphere. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, setting up the restaurant prior to service, taking accurate food and drink orders, adhering to cocktail recipes, checking identification for alcohol service, and efficiently processing payments. The Server/Bartender must also be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Safety and environmental responsibilities are also a key aspect of the role, requiring adherence to safety protocols and reporting any incidents immediately.
