About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Support position at Shane Co. is designed to provide exceptional customer service during the busy holiday season. This role involves assisting both front and back of house operations, ensuring a clean and organized store environment, and supporting sales activities to enhance the customer experience. The position is temporary and full-time, requiring availability on weekends and evenings.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working directly (face to face) with customers in a prior role is required.
  • Excellent verbal communication in English is required.
  • Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and an ability to lift boxes up to 35 pounds on a regular basis is required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong preference for previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with front and back of house operations, such as stocking supplies and organizing backstock.
  • Support floor sales activities by handling the checking and cleaning of customer's merchandise.
  • Uphold the overall cleanliness of the store, including cleaning glass showcases and other cleaning duties.

Benefits

  • Pay of $19/hour
  • End of season bonus of $300 if employed from November 25th through January 4th
  • Training provided for necessary duties
  • Possibility of being considered for core team roles after the season, depending on store need and performance during the season.
