About The Position

We are hiring a Seasonal Sales Call Representative to support outbound sales efforts during our peak tax season (January - April), with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance. This is a high-volume, phone-based role ideal for highly motivated individuals who are comfortable making back-to-back calls, following a script, and working toward daily and weekly goals. No deep tax or sales background required - training, tools,. And scripts are provided. This role is a great fit for college students, recent graduates, or anyone looking for short-term, performance-driven work with flexible scheduling who are highly self-motivated and eager to learn in a tech-startup, sales, or customer service environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work core business hours 30-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (EST) and if the business needs require, occasional nights and weekends if needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with sales calls or handling high volumes of outbound calls.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (Ex. Salesforce, Hubspot, etc).
  • Interest in sales, business development, or customer engagement, tech, startup.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound sales calls to prospective and returning customers.
  • Follow provided call scripts to re-engage leads and close sales.
  • Respond to inbound leads from emails and online forms.
  • Qualify prospects and identify sales opportunities.
  • Accurately log activity, notes, and outcomes in Hubspot (Customer Relationship Management Software).
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and sales team to provide feedback to improve sales processes and strategies.
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly call and conversion goals.
