Seasonal Sales Associate, Hayes Valley (Part-Time)
About The Position
Away, launched in 2016, offers a range of luggage and travel essentials. The company believes travel makes people better and fosters a community of travelers to make travel more seamless. The Part-Time Seasonal Sales Associate will join the San Francisco, Hayes Valley team. The Retail team aims to create a transformative experience for customers through product education, world-class service, and operational excellence, serving as the offline touch point for the brand to foster a stronger Away community. This role is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative brand and provide best-in-class support to customers from arrival to departure. Part-time employees must be available to work at least 16 hours per week, including at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) per week, and adhere to Away’s Blackout Period expectations. This is a seasonal, temporary position with potential for part-time or full-time employment following the summer season in August 2026.
Requirements

- Ability to pull, push, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds throughout the duration of a work shift
- Ability to stand/be on feet for extended periods of time throughout the duration of a work shift

- Part-time employees must be available to work at least 16 hours per week, including availability on at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) per week

- You’ll pursue the highest level of product knowledge and expertise, guiding our customers through the shopping, product and sales journey
- You’ll maintain the integrity of the space and uphold our visual standards
- You’ll support in-store programs and events, as needed
- You’ll assist with any necessary processes and procedures to ensure optimal store operations
