About The Position

A Seasonal Sales Associate contributes to driving sales through providing a genuine and unique experience to each customer. This role involves initiating genuine conversation to engage with the customer in a personalized way, ensuring all customers feel welcome, heard, and valued. Associates support a selling environment across the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers and offering product suggestions. They provide a frictionless customer experience by utilizing technology for transactions, finding sizes and colors, and placing orders for items not available in store. The role also involves building productive relationships with peers, asking for support when needed, and helping others. Associates participate in learning and sharing product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities to inspire customers. They contribute to positive team morale by participating in store initiatives and highlighting peers and leaders. Insights related to customer and employee experience are communicated to Store Leadership. Furthermore, the associate understands their contribution to service and selling on every shift to impact the store’s business. They support the shipment process to gain awareness of new and restocked products and contribute to omni order fulfillment processes while maintaining stock levels on the floor. Maintaining Anthropologie’s visual and operational standards is also key, always keeping the focus on the customer and staying current on merchandising updates.

Requirements

  • Anthro brand fan
  • Experience in customer service

  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Initiate genuine conversation to engage with the customer in a personalized way where all customers feel welcome, heard and valued
  • Support a selling environment in all areas of the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers and sharing product suggestions
  • Provide a frictionless customer experience by utilizing technology to transact in the moment, find sizes and colors, and place orders for items not available in store
  • Build productive relationships with peers; ask for support when needed and make an effort to help others
  • Participate in the learning and sharing of product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities to inspire the customer
  • Contribute to a positive team morale participating in store initiatives and highlighting peers and leaders through the SPARKED journal
  • Provide insights related to the customer and employee experience and communicate feedback to Store Leadership
  • Understand their contribution to service and selling on every shift in order to impact the store’s business
  • Support the shipment process to gain awareness of product, including what’s new and what’s restock; contribute to completion of omni order fulfillment processes while maintaining stock levels of the floor
  • Maintain Anthropologie’s visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer; stay current on merchandising updates
