About The Position

As a Seasonal Sales Assistant at Claire's, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets. Your primary focus will be on driving sales through exceptional customer service, ensuring a fun and enjoyable shopping experience for customers, and assisting with various store operations.

Requirements

• Some high school education required.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understanding of the importance of customer service.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers.
• Ability to operate POS system.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
• Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service.
• Ensure customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Demonstrate Claire's products to customers.
• Assist customers with their queries using product knowledge.
• Process store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
• Perform ear piercing (full training provided).
• Ensure the store looks presentable and inviting to customers.
