About The Position

As a Sales Advisor at H&M, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through the store, and actively selling our products. You'll use your fashion and product knowledge to provide customers with all the relevant information they need for the best experience. Your role will also involve garment refill and care, maintaining a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, and working closely with your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Requirements

  • Passionate about fashion and providing great customer experiences.
  • Communicative, creative, curious, motivated, flexible, decisive, and action-oriented.
  • Sales experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Experience in customer service in fashion, retail, or other service-related industries.
  • Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull, and carry items.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool.
  • Open availability including evenings and weekends.
  • 1-2+ years of transferable experience welcome.
  • Basic computer skills such as browser navigation, software interaction, and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and OMNI experience where available.
  • Engage and have conversations with customers to provide excellent service.
  • Guide customers through fashion trends, stories, and products in all areas of the store.
  • Promote and sell products to customers effectively.
  • Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives.
  • Support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.
  • Keep up to date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers.
  • Share relevant product and fashion knowledge with customers.
  • Retain and share service, fashion, and store operations knowledge with colleagues.
  • Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store.
  • Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn and develop.
  • Participate in onboarding, introduction processes, and relevant training.
  • Complete the full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and ensure good garment care.
  • Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practices.
  • Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house.
  • Support with garment presentation and maintain attractive merchandise displays.
  • Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.
  • Follow best practices for in-store OMNI Services and in-store tech services/tools.
  • Support with opening and closing of the store.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role.
