About The Position

As an individual contributor on the seasonal rooftop team at Arlo Williamsburg, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and service to our guests. This position is full-time OR part time and includes a competitive salary and benefits package. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid alcohol serving certification
• Knowledge of New York City and its surrounding areas is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist guests with seating, taking orders, and serving food and drinks
• Provide excellent customer service by anticipating needs and addressing any concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized rooftop area, including tables, chairs, and decor
• Prepare and serve drinks from the rooftop bar
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests
• Work closely with other departments, including kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Attend and participate in training sessions and team meetings
• Stay updated on menu items and daily specials
• Other duties as assigned by management
