Why Choose the Seasonal RN Opportunity in the ICU? This is a unique opportunity to advance your nursing career with a full-time commitment for 13 weeks in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment. As a Seasonal RN in our ICU, you'll care for critically ill patients with life-threatening conditions such as sepsis, multi-organ failure, ARDS, and complex post-operative complications. You'll also work with advanced life-support systems, including ventilators, CRRT, and ECMO, while gaining invaluable experience managing patients with acute trauma, advanced cardiac care, and neurocritical conditions. What You’ll Do: Provide advanced, patient-centered care to the most critically ill individuals using your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills. Collaborate with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes and ensure patient safety. Support and educate patients' families during highly stressful and emotional situations, acting as a vital resource for understanding treatment plans. Respond rapidly and effectively to deteriorating patient conditions in a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring the highest standard of care for critically ill patients. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care unit is required, ensuring you are prepared for the demands of this specialized role.

Requirements

  • Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position.
  • Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.
  • Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification required as dictated by each practice/service line.
  • Additional certifications may be required as applicable to assigned area(s).

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Open Heart nursing experience is preferred.
