About The Position

Overview Responsibilities Performs required daily maintenance inspections on park attractions, including but not limited to waterslides and pools. Responsible for basic and routine pool cleaning and recording chemical readings, water temperatures, etc. as required by the supervisor. Performs basic building, attraction and grounds maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, painting, carpentry, mechanical and preventative maintenance activities related to structures. May operate equipment or motorized vehicles (e.g. drills, saws, forklifts, truck, and high lifts) in performance of duties. May work with a variety of chemicals. Performs other duties as assigned. Posted schedule may be subject to change based on operational needs such as weather condition, guest attendance and department needs.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Able to operate and maintain mechanical equipment safely.
• Able to perform heavy physical work for extended periods of time.
• Able to climb ladders, work at heights up to 100 feet, and/or in enclosed spaces.
• Able to work in varied weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat, rain.)
• Able to balance multiple assignments successfully.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to provide excellent guest service by positively interacting with guests and upholding the Make it G.R.E.A.T. standards required.
• Able to maintain courteous and helpful behavior towards guests and fellow team members.
• Able to maintain appropriate employee appearance, per the employee handbook.
• Able to work flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• This position is seasonal and not eligible for overtime pay.
• Subject to Drug Free Workplace Policy.
• Subject to Criminal Background check.
• Subject to BMV check.

• Two years related experience preferred.
