About The Position
As a Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate at Macy's, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the sales floor, ensuring that merchandise, fitting rooms, and the store are well-organized, tidy, and visually appealing. This position is integral to bringing the Macy's magic to life, as you will be the face of the store, greeting customers and assisting them in locating and retrieving items. Your positive and welcoming presence will contribute to a pleasant shopping environment, which is essential for meeting sales goals and delivering superior customer service. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate a full understanding of store products, services, loyalty programs, and Macy's point of sale systems. You will assist customers in finding what they need and suggest additional items to enhance their shopping experience. Additionally, you will respond to customer requests for merchandise and assist in fulfilling digital customer orders by locating and pulling items as needed. Maintaining department recovery standards on the selling floor and in fitting rooms will also be a key part of your responsibilities.
