About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Part-time Service Team Member at Michaels, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping our store, and help them find what they're looking for. You will ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience, complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store, and maintain store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. Your role will also involve engaging customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educating them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and assisting with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).

Requirements

• Preferred retail and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
• Interact with others in a respectful manner and promote commitment to the organization's vision and values.
• Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
