About The Position

The At Your Service Center Colleague at Macy's is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service during various At Your Service activities, including Buy Online Pickup in Store transactions, processing returns, and assisting customers with their shopping experience. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported throughout their shopping journey.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the products being sold and ability to provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers virtually, via phone, and in person.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and achieve sales goals.
  • Proficient in utilizing point of sale technology and applications for selling and fulfilling orders.
  • Self-driven to keep up with product knowledge and trends through Macy's educational resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and connect with customers in a friendly manner.
  • Recommend products by identifying customer needs and inspiring purchases.
  • Assist customers in completing their sales and celebrating their purchases.
  • Support customers with Buy Online Pickup in Store transactions and ensure a smooth pick-up experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to drive sales and minimize returns.
  • Sell gift cards and resolve customer issues related to Macy's cards.
  • Follow store audit policies and procedures, adhering to asset protection and inventory control measures.
