As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you are at the heart of delivering a seamless and personalized shopping experience. You'll support all At Your Service activities, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks - all while upholding Macy's service standards. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is key, including working a variety of shifts such as nights, weekends, and holidays. This role goes far beyond just being a cashier.   • Start each day with a positive example, greeting teammates and ensuring the At Your Service area is clean and organized.
  • Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up to date on trends and promotions.
  • Welcome customers with genuine hospitality, making eye contact and starting friendly conversations.
  • Assist customers in all aspects of total store fulfillment, including Buy Online and Pick Up in Store.
  • Be proficient in all systems needed to complete transactions and ensure the collection area is organized.
  • Maintain a shoppable space by recovering merchandise and keeping the pickup and return areas clean.
  • Share loyalty program benefits and ensure customers have all they need before thanking them sincerely.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to make prompt, sound decisions in real time to effectively address customer needs.
  • Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
