About The Position

As a Retail Associate at Columbia Sportswear Company, you will play a vital role in creating memorable customer experiences while supporting the Store Leadership team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring product availability, maintaining visual displays, addressing customer inquiries, and efficiently managing the checkout process. Requirements

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred)
• 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization.
• Experience interacting with and serving consumers.
• Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems, and various other retail software tools.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store and visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Retrieve merchandise from stock room and other inventory locations to restock the sales floor.
• Perform cash register transactions (e.g., sales, returns, and exchanges) efficiently and accurately.
• Connect consumers to the company loyalty programs.
• Contribute to the profitability of the store by receiving and processing incoming and outgoing products accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to consumer questions regarding product features, benefits, and availability.
• Assist consumers with buying decisions by understanding their needs related to merchandise.
• Support Columbia Sportswear Company values to enhance the consumer experience and teamwork with fellow employees.
• Acquire necessary knowledge about products, policies, procedures, and programs to execute day-to-day operations.
