About The Position

Prepare meals per guest order, using recipes and prepared instructions, with supervision. Perform basic prep for service, including sliced meats, vegetables, condiments, burgers, etc. Assist with cold food preparation such as salad bars, banquet presentations, cheese platters, side salads, dressings, parfaits, retail packaged salads and sandwiches, and amenity baskets. Use various kitchen equipment, including knives, mandolines, meat slicers, mixers, immersion blenders, and vacuum sealers. Stock and refill salad bars and hot buffets. Remove all food from serving lines at end of meal period. Store and properly handle raw and prepared foods and non-food supplies. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work surfaces. Empty trash containers. Communicate inventory needs to supervisor.

Requirements

  • 12 months experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, chef, or head cook is required.
  • Requires extensive standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
