About The Position

Pet Paradise is looking for individuals with a passion for pets to join their team as a Seasonal Resort Associate and provide care for four-legged friends. Team members ensure that furry friends receive extra loving care and focused attention while playing and staying in a safe and entertaining environment. Requirements

• This position requires a considerable amount of physical labor, including pet handling, walking, cleaning, and maintenance of the suites
• True passion for working with animals
• Cheerful, friendly, and a positive team-oriented attitude
• Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
• Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
• Ability to receive instructions and remain adaptive to change and training material

Responsibilities

• Supervise and interact with pets both inside the resort and outside in the play yards
• Following directions on feeding times, amounts, and type of food
• Maintaining cleanliness of suites and dog runs by disinfecting, washing floors, scrubbing walls and removing animal waste
• Emptying trash, mopping all floors, and cleaning restrooms, common areas, and the employee breakroom
• Monitoring and recording important information about our pets and reporting any unusual behaviors, injuries, or critical information to management and veterinarian services if applicable
• Using proper dog handling techniques as instructed by management
• Keeping dogs secure and maintaining a high standard of pet safety by following and adhering to the training policies
