About The Position

EMH&T is currently looking for a Seasonal Resident Project Representative to join our Construction Services team located in Columbus, OH. Our Construction Services team monitors the work of contractors to ensure quality control and contract compliance primarily for public capital improvement projects. The RPR will oversee, inspect and monitor contractual field work which includes excavations, drainage facilities, road surfaces, water line installation and sanitary sewer piping and structures; schedules work and inspection phases with contactor and agency personnel. This position is full-time, seasonal.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction related activities, including experience in the inspection of state, county and public construction projects. Past experience must involve CIP projects.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and techniques, engineering terminology, principles and techniques of civil engineering including materials testing, surveying and plans review and knowledge of materials used in construction projects.
  • Other experience, education and registration may be substituted.
