About The Position

The Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU Unit will work primarily in Region C, with the main office located at Texas Health Central Staffing Office in Arlington, TX. This position requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business. The Central Staffing Office is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources hospitals. The role involves working variable night shifts and requires availability for 36 hours per week. The department prides itself on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with three years in the last five years in the area of specialty.
• Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support required upon hire.
• NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required within 90 days.
• NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required within 90 days.
• High degree of confidentiality and positive interpersonal skills.
