About The Position

The Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU Unit will primarily work in Region B, with the main office located at Texas Health Central Staffing Office in Arlington, TX. This position requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business. The Central Staffing Office provides clinical staffing resources for all THR hospitals, and the nurse must be open to being floated to neighboring zones if their primary zone does not have any needs. The department prides itself on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty.
• Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire.
• NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days.
• NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days.
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
