About The Position
The position involves various roles within summer recreation programs, including leadership and support for activities in recreation centers, parks, playgrounds, and pools. Applicants must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug test. The roles include Summer Recreation Leaders, Summer Recreation Youth Leaders, and leaders for specialty camps such as Reel Fishing Camp, Joe Abrahams Sports Camps, and Summer Theater and Arts Programs. Each role has specific age, education, and experience requirements, and all positions require a commitment to a 10-week schedule with attendance at paid training sessions. Responsibilities include supervising participants, leading activities, and ensuring safety during various recreational and educational activities.
