About The Position
The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks qualified applicants for the position Seasonal Recreation Facilities Repairer. This position is responsible for inspecting recreation facilities to determine the need for repair work and performing maintenance and repair of all facilities and infrastructure including but not limited to painting, mowing, brush trimming, tree removal and building and equipment maintenance. The role requires reviewing blueprints, plans, schematics and/or technical manuals for maintenance purposes, and operating hand power tools, generators, tractors, mowers and associated equipment in connection with repair work and maintenance of bicycle trails, fire lanes, gates, fencing and buildings. The position also involves picking up supplies needed for maintenance and repair work and performing related duties as assigned.
