General Purpose The Seasonal Recreation Attendant at Club KZ provides courteous, attentive, and energetic service while supervising children participating in daily camp activities. This position ensures a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment while leading and assisting with games, crafts, and recreation programs. Team members may also rotate throughout recreation departments as operational needs require. Employee housing is available for this seasonal position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred; experience working with children, camps, recreation programs, or hospitality environments preferred. Equivalent experience or training may be considered.
- Ability to work well with children in a positive and energetic manner
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Ability to maintain professionalism while supervising children and assisting families
- Valid driver’s license held for at least three years with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and manage multiple tasks in active environments
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in daily Club KZ camp activities, ensuring a safe and fun environment
- Lead and assist with games, crafts, sports, and themed recreation programs
- Monitor children at all times and enforce safety procedures and program rules
- Greet parents and guardians and assist with participant check-in and check-out procedures
- Inform families of activity schedules and program details
- Ensure recreation and activity equipment is safe and ready for participant use
- Receive, store, and distribute recreation equipment and supplies
- Maintain activity areas in clean and organized condition throughout the day
- Provide courteous and helpful service to guests, owners, and families
- Communicate with management regarding safety concerns or operational needs
- Assist with daily setup, breakdown, and organization of program areas
- Support additional recreation outlets as needed once trained, including Bike Rentals, Dunes Putting Course, Carousel, Health Club Desk, and Group Activities
