About The Position

You’ll support vineyard data collection activities that help maintain product quality and operational performance across our ranch locations. In this role, you’ll gather a variety of samples and measurements, assist with lab-based data entry, and help ensure a safe and compliant work environment. You’ll work both independently and alongside team members to support vineyard monitoring throughout the season. Participate in collecting vineyard data, including row and vine configuration, cluster and berry counts/weights, and bud dissections. Collect vine tissue and soil samples to support nutrient-level testing. Conduct accurate data entry in a lab environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Required to work any shift and work overtime when required.
  • Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior grape harvest experience including scouting vineyards, collecting vineyard/soil samples, or collecting vineyard data.
  • Knowledge of agronomy, cultural techniques for wine grape growing, and basic farm equipment operations.
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and AgCode software at a basic level.
  • Experience working independently with strong integrity, time management, communication, and problem ‑ solving skills.
