Are you looking for a fast-paced environment on a dynamic, and world-class team? SkyWest is hiring immediately for entry-level Ramp Agents! No prior experience is required. As a Ramp Agent, you will provide excellent service to our passengers and assist in helping every flight depart on time. The result is a rewarding opportunity to learn many different facets of the SkyWest operation.

Requirements

• 18 years old or older
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
• Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, and U.S. Customs clearances
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Processing baggage between baggage areas in airport facilities and aircraft, as well as receiving and dispatching aircraft
• Loading and unloading aircraft and carts
• Stacking and unstack baggage in aircraft
• Complete safety checklists for motorized equipment
• Drive and operate motorized equipment (e.g., conveyor belt)
• Read and interpret aircraft load sheets and checked baggage tags
• Escort passengers and special-needs customers safely and courteously
• Ensure compliance with SkyWest and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies
