About The Position

As a Seasonal PT Unloader / Stocker at Michaels, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping our store, and ensure they find what they're looking for. Your role will include completing truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store, maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. You will help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions, while also ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Responsibilities include engaging customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educating them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and assisting with Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). You will participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, and be responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance, ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store. Additionally, you will perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, support shrink and safety programs, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.

Requirements

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.

• Remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations.
• Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
