As a Seasonal PT Service Team Member at Michaels, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping the store, and ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience. Your responsibilities will include completing truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store, maintaining store recovery standards, and helping customers locate products. You will also engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educate them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and assist with Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Additionally, you will participate in stocking and planogram (POGs) processes, complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, and support shrink and safety programs while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies.

  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in shopping the store.

  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go back process.
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.
  • Remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations.
  • Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
