About The Position

The Seasonal PT Operations Supervisor at UPS is responsible for supervising, training, and developing workgroups to ensure safety, productivity, and attendance. This role emphasizes maintaining high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, and safety while fostering a positive work environment and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
  • Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
  • Facilitates training with new and current employees.
  • Ensures that all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in compliance with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
  • Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement and continual improvement.
  • Implements employee personal development plans to ensure professional growth of department personnel.
  • Ensures all department employees receive specific orientation, skills and safety training, and regular evaluations.
