About The Position
The Program Facilitator is responsible for broadening and enriching the educational opportunities for visitors by facilitating and evaluating high quality museum programs based on sound content and aligned with the museum's Learning Framework, educational philosophy and mission. Program topics include but are not limited to science, art, music, culture, technology, language and literacy, health and social and emotional learning. Programs can be provided both onsite and offsite, during regular museum hours and/or evenings and weekends. Successful Program Facilitators are committed to providing creative, innovative, fun, relevant programs to visitors. The position requires schedule flexibility, including a minimum of 32 hours up to a maximum of 35 hours a week with at least one (1) weekend day and occasional holidays and after-hours availability for special events/facility rentals as assigned by management. The Seasonal Program Facilitator must be available from May 12 to August 22, 2024.
