About The Position

Requirements

• Strength and agility sufficient to lift and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to withstand working outside in all extreme weather conditions
• Ability to perform strenuous manual work for prolonged periods of time
• Visual ability to perform assigned tasks in a safe manner
• Hearing ability sufficient to understand conversations
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members
• Understand and follow oral and written English instructions
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to recognize when operating adjustments may be necessary

Responsibilities

• Work with the Plant Foreman to maintain daily production goals
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment
• Understand and adhere to all safety regulations
• Assist on the aggregate material bagging line
• Assist with the physical inventory of product
• Learn basic machine maintenance
• Maintain a clean work area by emptying trash receptacles and sweeping/raking work areas
• Perform repairs and maintenance to the bagging facility, including minor building repairs and maintenance
