About The Position

The Summer Production Team position at Ornua Ingredients North America involves working in a fast-paced environment to assist in the manufacturing of pasteurized process cheese products. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to follow safety protocols while performing various tasks related to ingredient preparation and handling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Solid work history is a must
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Open barrels, blocks, or bags of cheese and other ingredients
• Weigh the ingredients to the specified amount per individual batch sheets
• Use knives and wires to cut and trim the ingredients to the correct weights
• Transfer ingredients from the scale to the pick-up tables
• Load cheese into grinders, requiring heavy lifting
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Perform all other duties as assigned
