Prepare high-quality meals for lunch and dinner service Follow established recipes and healthy cooking techniques to ensure consistency, nutrition, and flavor Properly store food and maintain ingredient integrity Continuously improve cooking skills and expand knowledge of food products and techniques Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, workstations, walk-in coolers, and storage areas Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning as needed Uphold sanitation standards throughout the workday Keep work areas clean, clutter-free, and safe Accurately complete sanitation and food temperature logs Perform tasks efficiently and in a timely manner Follow direction from kitchen leadership (Executive Chef, Sous Chef, Lead Cook) Ensure adherence to food safety and operational standards Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced kitchen team environment Contribute to a positive, respectful, and spiritually aligned kitchen atmosphere Support the broader Sunrise Ranch mission through attitude, service, and engagement Provide a welcoming and supportive experience for guests, staff, and community members As a member of the staff of Sunrise Ranch, contributes to the overall success and fulfillment of our mission through: Creative, uplifting expression that inspires others Enthusiastic contribution to the fabric of the Sunrise Ranch community Diligent, productive work that contributes to the Sunrise Ranch team effort Supporting, promoting and contributing to the vision, plan and work of the Spiritual Director and the Trustees of Emissaries of Divine Light Gives clear, supportive surround for guests, visitors and staff
