The Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel is seeking a Seasonal Pool Server who is passionate about excellence and infuses enthusiasm into their work. This position offers the opportunity to enhance the employee experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of the world-renowned hotels. Work authorization for the location is required. This is a seasonal role, expected to conclude in late September 2026, depending on business needs. Requirements

  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage operations
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Offer pre-determined menu selections to each guest
  • Maintain knowledge of each selection’s, origin, taste, and preparation method
  • Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the F&B Manager and/or kitchen
  • Check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order
  • Transport items to the guest table/ guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality
  • Communicate options for removal of trays and dishware
  • Respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards
  • Stock linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service
  • Assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • Set-up, decorate, clean, breakdown tables and food stations
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature
  • Properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals
  • Assist the needs of all guests in the function room providing them with reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic service
  • Maintain the cleanliness in the pool area
  • Respond properly and quickly in any hotel emergency or safety situation
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • Clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service
  • Ensure that guest corridors and service landings are free from tray tables and debris
  • Comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Pool Attendant duties
