About The Position

Our pool area is a favorite retreat for guests, and our seasonal Pool Servers play a key role in bringing relaxation, refreshment, and hospitality to life. As a Seasonal Pool Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service in a vibrant, outdoor poolside setting. This role focuses on creating a fun, welcoming, and attentive experience for guests while maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and safety. From taking orders and serving refreshing beverages to ensuring poolside areas are clean and well-stocked, you’ll help make every guest’s day at the pool memorable.

Requirements

  • Previous food and beverage or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Guest Service: Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to guests in the pool area, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
  • Menu Knowledge: Stay informed on all food and beverage offerings by attending menu briefings and confidently answering guest questions and making recommendations.
  • Order Management: Accurately take, confirm, and enter guest orders, ensuring timely delivery from the kitchen and bar.
  • Poolside Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain clean tables, chairs, and service areas while ensuring stations are properly stocked and organized.
  • Service Flow: Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, discreetly clear used items, reset areas promptly, and respond to additional requests.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen, bar, and support teams to ensure smooth service during peak seasonal hours.
  • Cash Handling & Compliance: Process guest payments accurately, follow cash handling procedures, report gratuities appropriately, and comply with all ABC Board requirements related to alcohol service.
  • Side Work & Support Duties: Complete assigned side work including restocking supplies, polishing service items, and assisting team members as needed.
