About The Position
The position is open to the general public and current Municipal employees, represented by the Public Employees, Local 71, and is subject to the provisions of the current agreement between the Municipality of Anchorage and Public Employees, Local 71. The role is within the Parks and Recreation Department, with varying shifts from Monday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The location is at 12001 Business Park Blvd Suite 123. Responsibilities include maintaining turf areas, trails, sports fields, and facilities, as well as performing sanitation maintenance, snow removal, and equipment maintenance. The position requires operating various tools and equipment, including garden tractors, mowers, and other maintenance tools.
