This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the McKinley Marina to ensure a safe environment and quality services, facilities, and amenities. Shifts vary between 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, and 11pm to 7am.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- At least 16 years of age at the time of application.
- Able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Appointee must establish residency in the state of Wisconsin within six months of start date and maintain such residency during incumbency.
Nice To Haves

- Computer experience.
Responsibilities
- Work at the marina for varied shifts, help guests with general marina duties, sell boat launch permits, sell and pump gas, and deliver ice to docks.
- Record sales in the point-of-sale system and follow cash handling guidelines set forth by Milwaukee County.
- Maintain parks, facilities, and amenities including, but not limited to, push mowing, rental facility cleaning and prep, cleaning, shoveling, debris removal, weeding, pruning, planting and watering trees, and patrolling docks.
- Complete park permits, attendance reports, logs, cash reports, and deposit slips.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
