As a seasonal, full-time Park Ranger Assistant, you will support State Park staff in protecting, maintaining, operating, and repairing park lands, including natural and cultural resources, structures, facilities, equipment, and systems. In this position, you'll typically focus on basic tasks within a specific area of park operations—such as janitorial duties, landscaping, interpretive services, or visitor support. Some roles may involve responsibilities across multiple areas. Additional duties could include entry-level work in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, or general maintenance. You may also be responsible for leading or assisting in the supervision of volunteers, as well as seasonal or temporary park staff. We recruit for seasonal positions each year that generally work April through September; however, the duration may vary depending on the park's specific needs. Housing is not available at this location.
