About The Position

Blarney Castle Oil Co. is a family-owned retail C-Store operation in Michigan, founded in 1933, with over 1,800 team members focused on building great customer experiences. The company is seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented individual to join their seasonal paint crew. This role involves preparing, painting, and finishing exterior and interior spaces of their facilities to help enhance them.

Requirements

• Please be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to follow directions.
• Be a strong team player but also able to take on independent tasks.
• You will need to be able to bend, stand, and lift occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous painting experience is a plus but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and possibly priming.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and paint sprayers.
• Assist with setting up and taking down workstations.
• Work will be mostly outdoors and weather dependent.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment for Blarney Castle staff and customers.
• Organize and load materials to be transported to each work site.
• Follow all safety and work procedures.
• Be a clear and polite communicator to both Blarney Castle employees and customers.
