About The Position
Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill Seasonal Outreach Educator positions at Mississippi Gateway Regional Park in Brooklyn Park, MN. This position is responsible for as directed, to develop and conduct interpretive nature-based and outdoor recreation programs that will increase the public's awareness of their surrounding environment and foster the appreciation, enjoyment and utilization of Three Rivers Park District facilities. Focus on offsite summer camps for all ages in first-tier communities of Hennepin County. A natural resources-based park system, Three Rivers Park District manages more than 27,000 acres of parks and trails in the Twin Cities area. It takes a dedicated team of full-time, part-time and seasonal employees to provide the high-quality opportunities and facilities that Three Rivers provides. Requirements
- High School Graduate or Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED) and at least one year of experience or related training OR any combination of education and experience equal to the above.
- Must have a valid Minnesota Driver’s License.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area preferred.
- Previous experience working with youth preferred.
- Previous experience driving vehicles with trailers or willingness to be trained preferred.
