About The Position

The Seasonal Operations Associate supports daily order processing and last-mile coordination within a MDC. This role is critical to ensuring orders are accurately prepared, routed, and delivered within established service level agreements. This position operates at the intersection of fulfillment, dispatch, and customer communication—requiring strong organizational discipline, real-time problem solving, and consistent communication with drivers and the Telecenter. The associate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to clearly communicate instructions and updates across teams
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directions and execute tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions (hot and cold environments)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak season overtime

Responsibilities

  • Process and prepare daily customer orders to meet strict delivery deadlines
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders prior to dispatch
  • Support inventory handling, product movement, and general workflow execution
  • Assist with routing deliveries and assigning orders to drivers when leadership is unavailable
  • Communicate with drivers throughout the day to monitor delivery progress and resolve issues in real time
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule and all delivery confirmation (DLC) requirements are finalized by end-of-day deadlines
  • Serve as a point of contact for inbound calls and coordinate with the Telecenter to address order or delivery issues
  • Provide clear, timely updates to internal stakeholders regarding order status and exceptions
  • Support additional MDC functions as needed, including inventory, basic floral handling/design support, and general facility operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
