As an Operations Admin, you will be responsible for providing district(s) operational and hiring support, ordering supplies, and general administrative duties as related to the overall office’s operations. You will provide seasonal hiring support in the H&R Block applicant tracking system and administrative support to the District Operations Coordinator (DOC) supporting the overall district(s) offices. Your day-to-day tasks will include providing hands-on Tax Office Associate support with Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) renewal/payment, receiving communication from offices regarding supplies, facilities, or support, and documenting the nature of problems, researching solutions, and resolving issues or escalating them as needed. You will also communicate with DOC/DGM/Field Associates around Administrative Support Tasks, source vendors for local facility tickets, review and verify invoices, and maintain a technical working knowledge of systems used to support district(s). Additionally, you will attend training related to the effective and efficient performance of job duties and perform other duties as assigned by the DOC or in partnership with the CSM.

  • Provide seasonal hiring support in the H&R Block applicant tracking system.
  • Provide administrative support to the District Operations Coordinator (DOC).

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the DOC or in partnership with the CSM.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and calmly on the telephone, email, and chat.
  • Effective customer service techniques with associates under stress.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and project coordination skills.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organization skills.
  • Experience working with Windows Environment.
  • Some experience or ability to learn to support Microsoft operating systems and software applications.
  • 1-3 years administrative experience.
