About The Position
As the Seasonal Champion Associate at Macy's, your primary focus will be on enhancing the customer experience through proactive supervision and fostering a sales-oriented culture. You will be a vital member of the Store Leadership Team, responsible for clearly communicating goals and expectations to your peers. Your role will involve creating a lively and appealing store atmosphere for both shoppers and staff, requiring you to adapt to various duties as the business demands evolve. To ensure an outstanding holiday shopping experience, you may start your day before the store opens and stay beyond closing hours. This position offers flexibility in working varying shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and major sale events like Black Friday and December 26th. Your contributions will be essential in creating the Macy's magic during the busy holiday season. In this role, you will provide active supervision by circulating the selling floor, directing colleagues, and supporting daily priorities to optimize customer experience and increase sales. You will lead activities to ensure customer readiness and exceptional presentation standards, while also building lasting customer relationships and fostering a proactive, solution-oriented culture in the store. Additionally, you will handle various responsibilities related to the physical operation of the facility, oversee daily receiving and fulfillment processes, and monitor execution metrics to achieve daily goals. Your leadership will be crucial in onboarding seasonal colleagues, conducting welcome calls, and supporting them in key onboarding activities to ensure a positive and productive experience.
