About The Position

The Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) position is based at the Texas Health Central Staffing Office located in Arlington, TX, with primary work in Region A. The role requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on staffing needs. The Central Staffing Office provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The work environment is primarily in Med Surg Departments, and the position requires availability for night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Self-scheduling is available to help maintain a work/life balance, and the department values high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • 5+ years of clinical nurse experience, with a minimum of 3 years Med Surg experience in the last five years.
  • Current TX RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing required upon hire.
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required upon hire.
  • NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke certificate within 30 days of hire.
